How to make holes for loudspeaker drivers using a drill and a file or rasper. White = wood, grey = hole. Start by plotting the hole circle. (fig 1) Drill holes, close to each other, just inside the plotted circle. (fig2) Punch out the middle piece, it will now look as in figure 3. Use a file or rasper to even out the inregularities, so that the hole becomes round and nice, as in figure 4. This way you can make big holes in just a few minutes without the need for a jigsaw.
